The training camp will be divided into two groups and train separately. The World Championship and WAGC athletes will be placed in one group (Gold Team); all other athletes will train in the second group (Silver Team). In order for the camp to run smoothly and for the athletes and coaches to receive the best training experience, each group of athletes should have a personal coach present.

The focus of the AGDT/ICT Team Camp will be on developing skills and techniques to help athletes move towards the international track and elite levels. The athletes will receive specific instruction on both compulsory and optional skills, training tips, dance and tumbling. The coaches will work directly with their athletes, assist in the training, observe, take notes and ask questions. This camp is designed to help coaches take their athletes to the next level!
AGDT/ICT Team Camp – Athletes are selected in the following priority order:
- Same partnerships
- Alternates in same partnerships
- Changed partnerships w/ 1 or more ICT/AGDT member
- Alternates in changed partnerships
- All athletes must be accompanied by a coach
The Open Camp will work with new and up and coming coaches and athletes in levels 6-9. Coaches will have separate training sessions to learn about how to draw tariff sheets, routine construction, reading the FIG tables of difficulty, training plans and more. In addition there will be coach/athlete sessions where you will learn techniques for skill progressions and spotting. This camp is perfect opportunity for new club coaches and assistant coaches who want to learn to take on a bigger role at their club!
Open Camp Attendees:
- Athletes from levels 6-9 who DID NOT make any team
- All athletes must be accompanied by a coach
Invited participants who can go online and register include:
• 2016-2017 SNT, JNT, and 11-16 AGT members
o athletes may be in the same partnership or in a new partnership
o athletes may be working at the same level/age group or at a higher level/age group
o alternates are also invited
• 2016 WCH or WAGC team pair/groups
o athletes may be in the same partnership or in a new partnership
o athletes may be working at the same level/age group or at a higher level/age group
o alternates are also invited
• Any/all mixed pairs meeting age for 2018 Youth Olympic Games

The Future Stars program is intended to identify talented athletes exhibiting a strong caliber and quality participating in the JO Track (Levels 8, 9, & 10) and encourage their continuation and growth in Acrobatic Gymnastics program. Future Stars athletes are invited to attend a Future Stars Training Camp. This program will help to support both athletes and their coaches by providing dedicated training and education opportunities. The goal is to recognize up-and-coming athletes and focus on developing skills to progress to the elite levels.

The Acrobatic Super Clinic – Open Camp will work with new, up and coming, and experienced coaches to provide an opportunity for education and receive instruction from top level clinicians within the Acrobatic discipline. Coaches may have separate training sessions to learn about routine construction, training plans, techniques, tariff sheet review/creation and more.
