Texas Judges Course

December 14-15, 2019

Attendance at this 2-day course is required for individuals wishing to serve as judges at USAG Acrobatic Gymnastics competitions during the 2020 Competition season.  All current judges at any level are welcome.  Individuals wanting to become new acrobatic judges are encouraged to attend.  This course will cover execution judging, artistry rules, tariff sheets, difficulty rules, and other judging practices.  There will be time to review rules and practice judging of videos.  Exams will be given at the conclusion of the course.  Auditing is available.  Coaches and judges may request to audit.

Course Materials to bring

Clinic attendees are not required to be professional members of USA Gymnastics, however professional membership, including background check, safety certification and SafeSport education, will be required to complete the judging certification process.

Saturday, Dec 14

  • Arrival at 8:00 a.m.
  • Course begins at 8:30 a.m. sharp.
  • Will break for lunch.
  • Finish around 6:00 p.m.

Sunday,  Dec 15

  • Course begins at 8:30 a.m.
  • Testing begins around noon.
  • All can depart by 4:00 p.m.

Cost

$100 per person (includes testing)

$35 to audit to course (no testing)

$10 late fee will be added for registrations/payments received after the registration deadline. No refunds will be given after the registration deadline.
